Warcraft 3’s internal Public Test Realm was temporarily updated to Patch 2.0. As shown via blizztrack, the update happened on October 15 at around 5PM PDT:

Around 16 hours later, this change to the internal Warcraft 3 build, also called “w3d”, was reverted back to Patch 1.36:

Obviously, this massive patch jump, although only temporarily visible on an internal test build, already sparked controversial discussion within the Warcraft 3 community.
