The Battlet.net Client Beta received a recent update, which added the ability to pick which Classic Version you want to log into – Classic Era, Season of Discovery, or Hardcore.

This update doesn’t change anything in-game, as you can still swap between these three versions after logging in, but it could be the groundwork for a more unified game client in the future that changes based on launch arguments.
