Blizzard has replied to feedback on Dark Ranger’s reworked talents pulling extra mobs for Beast Mastery and Marksmanship Hunters. New fixes should remedy the issues.

We’ve been working this past week to identify the root causes of some of these issues. We had a fix to Hunter’s Prey go out yesterday and fixes to Withering Fire are being deployed today.
You should see it behave much more consistently than before.
