As part of the Diablo 4 Patch 2.1 notes, Blizzard announced changes to item affixes. Instead of the entire item being class-restricted, only specific affixes will be class-restricted.
Primarily, this affects affixes that were obtained through the Tempering process – many players would Temper an item on one class, then trade it through their Stash to an alt, allowing for an unintended method of acquisition. Now, players will have to stick to their own Tempers for their builds.
