Blizzard has announced changes to Season 2 Delve updates that include changes to reward progression meant to smooth out the item-level progression and grant more opportunities to gain power beyond Tier 8.

To make curio collecting a more longform and hopefully engaging experience, obtaining a curio upgrade will always advance a curio’s rank by 1 regardless of the completed Delves tier.
