For 1v1 duels in  PvP tournaments hosted by Clan Valor, the rules may include:

1. Level Cap: Both players must be at a specified level to ensure balanced fights (e.g., max level or a set tournament level).  

2. No External Help: Only the two players can participate—no outside buffs or interference from other players.

3. Restricted Builds or Skills: Players must adhear to the “Good Mannered” Rules.

4. Fight Area: Duels take place in a designated PvP zone typically known as “the doghnut”.

5. Match Format: Best-of-three rounds is typical, with breaks between rounds if necessary.

6. No Excessive Kiting: While kiting is part of some builds, excessively avoiding combat to stall the match could result in disqualification or a forced countdown.

7. Respect and Sportsmanship: Toxic behavior, trash-talking, or disrespectful actions towards other players are not tolerated.

8. Gear Rules: Some tournaments might have specific gear requirements or limitations please see the “Good Mannered” rules.

9. Winning Conditions: The duel ends when one player reaches 0 health and is dead. If both players die at the same time, the player who died first in the chat timestamp has lost.

PvP Rules for Good Manners Compliant Duels and Tournaments

Current Rules:

All classes

• Selig is banned
• Hectic is banned
• Yens blessing is banned
• Thorns is banned
• Crowded Sage is banned in BvB, RvB, RvR
• Crowded Sage is banned in Overtime
• Dodge is capped at 50% out of town, including all aspects and tempers.
• No pre-buffing of skills/multipliers, etc prior to your duel

Druid

• Earthbreaker is banned

Necro

• Creeping Mist is banned

Sorc

• Engulfing is banned
• Stormswell is banned
• Splintering Energy is banned
• Firewall size tempering can only be applied to one weapon.
• Flame shield duration will be limited to 5 seconds.
• No deep freeze tempers, No fire bird aspect, No flame shield enchant
• If a player has Deep Freeze and Flame Shield on the skill bar, they cannot have the Sly Steps Defensive aspect equipped without also having Ice Armor on the Skill Bar
• Incinerate Enchant, when combined with Conflag Aspect, is banned, except for Incinerate primary damage builds
  • SUBJECT TO REF DETERMINATION: incinerate builds that abuse bug will be disqualified.
